I have a user pic that I made from a picture I downloaded from the internet years ago. Of course, I've lost the original picture and have long forgotten the artist/photographer. I'm pretty sure that it's a woman, and has several similar photos (faded pictures with brightly colored objects of children).

There's a website where the members write blog entries in a foreign language they're learning. Native speakers of that language can write corrections and add comments to their blogs. My friend vaguely remembers a movie she saw when she was young (1990s probably), in which the hero (who looked like a He-Man ripoff) had to be suspended by his nipples for some kind of Native-American-ish ritual.

I watched this movie in a history class in high school. It takes place in the 1700s or 1800s. The only scene I remember is when a man and his friends are escaping from a Native American village on horseback. Alright. My roommate's boyfriend has seen this movie. None of us have any idea what he is talking about. He claims it's Gene Wilder who was going across the country on horseback to find his wife. This was a book involving wolves, sled dogs, and a winter setting. I read it sometime in the late 90's, when I was in fourth or fifth grade. It was not by Jack London, but if I remember correctly, this was a paperback copy and one of the quotes from critics/reviewers on the back sort of compared the author to Jack London.
